If you want to try scuba diving and see the amazing underwater world of Phuket. Then this full day discover scuba diving trip is going to be the highlight of your tropical holiday.
Thanks to the white-sand beaches and bath-warm waters of the Andaman Ocean, Phuket is a firm favourite when it comes to one of the world’s best scuba diving holiday destinations.
No prior scuba diving experience is needed as you will be fully supervised by one of our experienced scuba diving instructors.

Trip Information
- 07.30am - 5.00pm
- Discover Scuba Includes - Everything
- 07:30 - We come and collect you from your hotel by air conditioned minivan and transfer you to the day trip scuba diving boat.
- 08:30 - Join the day trip boat where your scuba diving Instructor will be waiting for you, and sail to Koh Racha Yai Island.
- 09:00 - Freshly prepared breakfast is served whilst on our way to Koh Racha Yai island.
- 10:30 - Your Instructor will put on your scuba diving equipment before jumping into the water for your first scuba dive of the day.
- 11:40 - When you arrive back from your dive a hot buffet lunch will be waiting for you on board.
- 13:00 - It’s time for your second scuba dive of the day.
- 14:00 - Back on board and time to reflect on the days diving with your Instructor as we cruise back to Phuket.
- 15:30 - Arrive back at Phuket island.
- 16:30 - Transfer back to your hotel.

How warm is the water in Phuket?
In the Andaman Sea, water temperatures are usually very warm, ranging from 79 to 84 degrees throughout the year – so we wear a thin 3mm shorty wetsuit on all the discover scuba diving dives.

Can i have Private instruction for the Discover scuba diving day trip?
Yes we can organise a private discover scuba diving day trip for you so for the full day it will just be you and a discover scuba diving instructor.
Do i need to know how to swim to go on the discover scuba dive?
No you do not need to be able to swim to go on the discover scuba diving day trip – the important thing is that you are comfortable in the water and it is recommended to take a private scuba diving day trip where you will have a scuba diving instructor by your side at all times.
How long after diving can i fly home?
The Professional Association of Diving Instructors “Flying After Diving guidelines” say divers should not ascend to a high altitude within 12 hours of completing a single dive or 18 hours after doing multiple dives so as long as you are not flying before 9am the next day everything will be fine. How long are the dives?
This really depends on how fast you breathe the air from the tank but normally it is around 30 / 40 minutes per dive.
How deep do i dive?
You will dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters / 40 feet on both dives.
How old do i need to do the discover scuba diving day trip?
The minimum age is 10 years to go on the discover scuba diving day trip.
Do i need to do a doctors medical before scuba diving?

Phuket is good for diving all year round due to its constant warm tropical waters and amazing coral reefs.
There are multiple scuba diving locations to visit on your holiday to Phuket – Phi Phi Islands, Racha Noi, Racha Yai, Shark Point, Koh Doc Mai and more.
During October to May each year the stunning Similan Islands National Marine Park is open – voted as one of the top 10 scuba diving destinations in the world – there are day trip options but the most popular are the live-aboard options where you spend a few days sailing around the islands of the Similans.
How much does scuba diving cost in Phuket?
The cost of scuba diving in Phuket depends first if you are a certified diver or you are new to scuba diving:
New scuba divers:
1 Day – Try scuba diving day trip = 4,500 Baht
Certified Divers:
Phi Phi Islands 3 dive day trip = 4,100 Baht.
Koh Racha Noi + Yai 3 dive day trip = 4,100 Baht.
Koh Racha Noi 2 dive day trip = 3,200 Baht.
