Advanced Open Water Diver certification, qualifies you to dive deeper than you have ever been before to a maximum depth of 30 meters! The Advanced Open Water also improves your navigation and buoyancy skills by completing 5 adventure dives.

07:30  We come and collect you from your hotel.

08:30 Join the day trip boat and sail to Koh Racha Noi Island.

9.00 Dive briefing from your instructor and a light breakfast is served

10:30 It’s the first training dive of the day at Koh Racha Noi.

11.30 A freshly prepared lunch is served. There is a  vegetarian or vegan option if you like.

13.00 Time for the second training dive of the day at Koh Racha Noi.

15.00 Time for the third training dive of the day at Koh Racha Yai.

16:00  Sail back to Phuket.

17.30 Arrive back at Phuket and we return you back to your hotel.

07:30  We come and collect you from your hotel.

08:30 Join the day trip boat and sail to Phi Phi Islands or King Cruiser Wreck.

9.00 Dive briefing from your instructor and a light breakfast is served

10:30 It’s the first training dive of the day at either Phi Phi Islands or King Cruiser Wreck.

11.30 A freshly prepared lunch is served. There is a  vegetarian or vegan option if you like.

13.00 Time for the second training dive of the day is either at Phi Phi Islands or 

15.00 Time for the third training dive of the day at Koh Racha Yai.

16:00  Sail back to Phuket.

17.30 Arrive back at Phuket and we return you back to your hotel.

In the Andaman Sea, water temperatures are usually very warm, ranging from 79 to 84 degrees throughout the year – so we wear a thin 3mm shorty wetsuit on dives.

Yes we can organise a private advanced open water course for you so for the 3 days it will just be you and a diving instructor.

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors “Flying After Diving guidelines” say divers should not ascend to a high altitude within 12 hours of completing a single dive or 18 hours after doing multiple dives so as long as you are not flying before 9am the next day everything will be fine.

This really depends on how fast you breathe the air from the tank but normally it is around 30 / 40 minutes per dive. You will do 5 training dives + 1 fun dive during the 2 day advanced open water course.

The great thing about doing the Advanced open water course is that it allows you to explore at a deeper depth of 30 meters / 100 Feet.

The minimum age is 15 years to complete the advanced open water diver course.

During October to May each year the stunning Similan Islands National Marine Park is open – voted as one of the top 10 scuba diving destinations in the world – there are day trip options but the most popular are the live-aboard options where you spend a few days sailing around the islands of the Similans.

The cost of scuba diving in Phuket depends first if you are a certified diver or you are new to scuba diving:

New scuba divers:
1 Day – Try scuba diving day trip = 4,500 Baht

Certified Divers:
Phi Phi Islands 3 dive day trip = 4,100 Baht.
Koh Racha Noi + Yai 3 dive day trip = 4,100 Baht.
Koh Racha Noi 2 dive day trip = 3,200 Baht.
