Day 1: Classroom and Pool
|
Morning- (8am - 12 noon).
This will be conducted in one of our air-conditioned classrooms at the dive centre.
For each section you will watch a video before completing a short quiz- don't worry it's not too difficult! |
|
|
Afternoon- (1pm - 5pm).
In the afternoon, you will go to the swimming pool to put into practice what you have learnt in the morning.
Your instructor will show you how to assemble your scuba gear and perform a buddy check before entering the water.
Once you feel comfortable under the water we will start going through the confined water diving skills. This prepares you for the two open water dives the next day.
The day normally finishes around 5pm, but if you require more time to practice in the swimming pool or need some more time in the classroom then this is not a problem. |
|
Morning- 7:30am pickup from your hotel.
You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:30am- please wait in the hotel lobby. The air-conditioned minibus will then transfer you to the daytrip boat at Chalong pier.
After a short briefing on the boat and the facilities on-board by your instructor, it is time for some freshly prepared breakfast prepared by the boat crew.
Your first dive is to a maximum depth of 12 metres and for a maximum time of 50 minutes- you will be amazed at how quickly time goes by under the water.
You will be amazed at the variety of marinelife that you will see- from the magical manta rays to the famous clown fish (Nemo). |
|
|
Afternoon.
Your instructor will give you another briefing as you and your classmates are required to demonstrate a few dive skills.
Once the skills are out of the way, you will have plenty of time to explore the reefs and practice your buoyancy.
At the end of the dive back onboard the boat, you will clean your equipment before relaxing in the sun with your instructor and celebrating your new qualification as a PADI Scuba Diver! |
