Day One
Pool Sessions
Please make your own way to our dive centre for 9:00am on day one; hotel transfers are not included for this first day. Your scuba instructor will greet you before we head to the pool. Learn how to dive in our multi-level scuba diving pool — we normally finish around 2–3pm.
Day Two - 3 Dives
12M Coral Reef Dives
07.30am hotel pick up and transfer to the day trip diving boat. Breakfast is served whilst we sail to the Racha Islands for your first amazing coral reef dive. We will do three training dives during the day - back around 5pm.
Day Three - 3 Dives
18M Coral Reef Dives
07.30 hotel pick up and onto the day trip boat. The first dive of the day will be your final open water training dive so the final two dives of the day are just for fun so you can truly experience the amazing colours and varied marine life.

13:00 – Second training dive of the day
14:00 – Sail to Koh Racha Yai Island
15:30 Third training dive of the day

Is scuba diving insurance included?
Yes. Scuba diving insurance is included in your course price and covers all scuba activities throughout your course. If you’d like more information, please contact us.
Do I need to be able to swim to go on the PADI Open Water Diver Course?
You should be comfortable in the water, although feeling nervous is normal.
To complete the PADI Open Water certification, you must finish a water-skills assessment: float or tread water for 10 minutes, and swim 200 metres or snorkel 300 metres without stopping. There is no time limit and you may use any swimming stroke.

What is the medical requirement for the PADI Open Water Diver Course?
Scuba diving requires a basic level of health and fitness. Before booking, review the PADI Diver Medical form. If any answer requires medical approval, arrange this before the course so your training is not delayed. Our Open Water cost, schedule and medical-form guide explains what to expect.
How Deep Can a Junior Open Water Diver Go?
Divers aged 10 and 11 must dive with a PADI Professional or a certified parent or guardian. Dives may not exceed 12 metres/40 feet.
Junior Open Water Divers who are at least 12 but under 15 years old may dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet and may only dive with a certified adult. All Open Water Divers, including adults, should stay above 18 metres/60 feet until they have received additional training.
With additional training in the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course, divers aged 12 to 14 may explore down to 21 metres/70 feet.
How to Upgrade From Junior Open Water Diver to Open Water Diver
The Junior Open Water Diver course covers the same information and skills as the Open Water Diver course. So, a Jr. Open Water Diver may upgrade to Open Water Diver by simply ordering a replacement card once they turn 15 years old.

Can anyone scuba dive?
Anyone over 10 years old and in good health can participate in the PADI Open Water Diver Course.
Special Dietary Requirements?
While we may not be able to accommodate every requirement please let us know in advance and we’ll make every effort to ensure there is food available for you. In addition, we can help you store your own food on the day trip boat if required.
Where should I stay for my PADI Open Water course?
You can stay anywhere on Phuket, but Rawai, Nai Harn and Chalong are particularly convenient. Please make your own way to the dive centre on day one; no hotel transfer is included for the pool-training day.
On days two and three, free return hotel transfers are included from all hotels in Kamala, Nakalay, Kalim, Tri Trang / Merlin Beach, Patong, Karon, Kata, Nai Harn, Rawai and Chalong. Hotels outside this local pickup area require separate transport. We confirm your boat-day pickup time when you book.

Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that sometimes things come up and you may need to reschedule your booking. We will do our best to accommodate your request and move your booking to a different date if possible. However, if this is not possible, we will issue you a refund according to the following policy:
- For cancellations made more than 7 days in advance of your booking date, you will receive a FULL REFUND minus a ฿5,500 per person PADI eLearning Registration fees.
- For cancellations made within 7 days of your booking date, NO REFUND will be issued.
- If we have to cancel your trip due to poor weather conditions a FULL REFUND will be issued minus a ฿5,500 PADI eLearning Registration fee.
