7.30am: We come and collect you from your hotel lobby and transfer you by one of our air-conditioned mini buses to our day trip diving boat. Your PADI dive instructor will be waiting for you on the boat, and after a short briefing on the boat and the facilities on-board it is time for some breakfast which will be freshly prepared for you by the boat crew. Whilst making our way to the amazing coral reefs surrounding the islands south of Phuket, you will have an hour or so with your instructor to go though the objectives of the first dive and the safety procedures and checks before diving. Once we have arrived at the dive sites now it is time to get the scuba gear on, do a buddy check and now you are ready for your first scuba dive on one of the best places in the world to scuba dive. You are going to be amazed at what you can see down there; Corals soft and hard, millions of tropical fish and much, much more. Open Water dive 1: This is a fun dive with no skills, just floating around weightlessly taking in the underwater beauty of Thailand, to a maximum depth of 12 meters and maximum time 50 minutes. Once you are back on board a hot buffet lunch will be served by the boat crew and this gives you time to relax with your instructor and discuss how the dive went and an assessment of your diving skills- don't forget to log your dives. After an hour or so then it is time for the second dive of the day, which like the first is a maximum time of 50 minutes and a maximum depth of 10 meters. On this dive you will perform a few dive skill exercises with your class mates and the instructor. Once you are back on the boat we will go through the cleaning procedures of the dive equipment and then relax in the sun maybe with a cold beer. Once we are back at the port it's then back aboard the transport and we will return you to your hotel around 5pm.
Just like Day 1 we collect you from your hotel at 7.30am and transfer you to the day trip boat. Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater?

If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a PADI Open Water Diver certification course, then the Discover Scuba Diving program will let you try scuba to see if you like it.
While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water, and get an introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
During the day you will do two amazing coral reef dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters, closely supervised by one of our PADI Instructors. Anyone who is over the age of 10 and in good physical health can try scuba diving - no need to be an Olympic swimmer!
Here at Thailand Divers we make safety and fun for you our main priorities, so with the Discover Scuba Diving program the maximum group size will be four divers with one instructor.

We will come and collect you from your hotel at around 7:30am in one of our air-conditioned mini buses and transfer you to our day trip dive boat at the south of Phuket island.
Your PADI scuba diving instructor for the day will be waiting to greet you on the boat, and after a short briefing on the facilities of the boat, it is time to get ready for the fun part.
While the boat makes its way out to one of the islands around Phuket, a light breakfast is available and your instructor will go through a safety briefing with you and explain what is involved in the dives, what to see and what to expect. Should you have any questions then your instructor will be happy to answer them for you.
After the briefing, your instructor will help you get the scuba gear on and then jump in to the sea for your first breath underwater....... You are going to be amazed at the stunning colours and variety of marine life that you will see on the coral reefs, from Cuttlefish, Butterflyfish, turtles, stingrays, moray eels, and also keep your eyes open for the manta rays, pipefish, anglerfish and seahorses.
During the day you will do two coral reef dives and there is a hot buffet lunch served on-board in between. There is also time for relaxing in the sun or snorkeling in one of the many clear, calm bays of the island.
After the last dive of the day, the boat cruises back to the port and it's time to relax, put your feet up and have a cold beer or soft drink with us and go through some of the underwater marine life books on the boat with your instructor to discuss what you have seen.
Then it is back in the mini bus and we transfer you back to your hotel lobby for around 4pm.
The cost of the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is:
5,000 Thailand Baht: Group tuition: Maximum group size 4 students.
Now Only - 4,500 THB.
6,000 Thailand Baht: Private tuition: Just you and one PADI Instructor for the complete day.
Now Only - 5,400 THB.
The course includes:

- Full set of rental scuba diving equipment.
- Breakfast.
- Lunch.
- Snacks and Fresh tropical fruit all day.
