What 's Involved ?
You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:30am- please wait in the hotel lobby. The air-conditioned minibus will then transfer you to the daytrip boat at Chalong pier. After a short briefing on the boat and the facilities on-board by your instructor, it is time for some freshly prepared breakfast prepared by the boat crew. Your instructor to go though the objectives of the first dive which will be the Underwater Navigation dive. During the dive you will do some practical underwater navigation skills and once these are completed then the rest of the dive is just for fun. Once you are back on board a hot buffet lunch will be served by the boat crew and this gives you time to relax with your instructor and discuss how the dive went and an assessment of your diving skills- and prepare for the next dive which is the Peak Performance Buoyancy.
The Peak Performance Buoyancy section is great fun to get you flying weightlessly above the reefs without touching or damaging them. This also teaches you how to stay completely still under the water which is especially useful if you are trying to take an underwater photo of something interesting. Once you have finished the dive, washed your equipment it is time to relax in the sun with a soft drink or beer and discuss the days diving with your instructor and go through what you will be up to the next day.
Just like Day 1, we will collect you from your hotel at 7.30am and transfer you to the day trip boat at Chalong pier- please wait in the hotel lobby for the minibus. Today is going to be a 3-dive day, so after breakfast on the way out to the first dive site, you and your instructor will plan the first dive of the day which will be the Deep Adventure Dive.
The dive will be to a maximum of 30m. Today's dives will cover the Deep dive, Computer and Multi level dive and Underwater Naturalist dive. The other sections of the PADI Advanced Open Water manual cover: Drift Diving, Night Diving, Wreck Diving, Boat Diving.
Between the dives you will have around an hour surface interval to give you time to relax and discuss the dive with your instructor. The second Adventure Dive of the day will be Computer and Multi-level Diving. This dive teaches you how to plan your dives to different depth levels rather than assuming your dive is all at one depth. This means you take advantage of the shallower depths to increase your dive time. After lunch, it is time for your third dive of the day, and final qualifying dive for the course. This will be the Underwater Naturalist Adventure Dive so will give you the opportunity to learn more about the aquatic realm.
